We were looking for something different than outlet restaurants like sushi king and sushi zanmai. Googled this place and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was surprisingly good. The interiors were homey. We would definitely go there again.
The first Japanese restaurant in Alor Setar, initially operated in a shopping mall before moving to the current shophouse. When they first started business, the food was excellent. Over the years, the portion has grown much smaller than standard servings at most Japanese restaurant with similar pricing. Taste also not as good as early years , just ok.
If u want to take away avoid to go there because I waited at there almost one hour... I was the first customer but they treated the second and third customer before my turn...RIDICULOUS
Interior is nice. The taste is just okay. But it is not so exceptional compared to other sushi outlets that you can find at malls, given the similar price. The place is quite hard to locate unless you use navigational map or you really are familiar with the surrounding.
