Ms. Gene’s Place - Alice

This was such a great experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere of the hotel as well as the restaurant itself complimented so well together. Seward is such a beautiful town and this restaurant certainly complements that in itself. The hostess and the chef seem very dedicated and committed to high quality and high class experience with world-class service. I am certainly coming back and would highly recommend this place to any one of my friends for a future visit. What a beautiful experience.

Our dinner here was excellent. the seat is limited, as this is done by two people (without additional support staff they know that they are at a good location when they see that the chef walk out the terrace, they pick some items from the garden and then back into the kitchen. this is a must, especially if they stay in the hotel.

We decided to stop here for an evening trip from ankerplatz and search online for open places. the options were very slim for februar in seward, but we came over ms. genes place and decided to give him a shot without expectations. we are so glad that we have made it! a new favorite place in seward and perhaps even quite alaska. the environment was very intimate and cozy to begin. we were greeted by elle and she was so charming. the menu is small, but we managed to want everything. I decide about the nativity and he has the burger. my ribeye was one of the best I ever had. his burger was phenomenal. we must bing, the cook, meet and had a wonderful conversation with him and elle. they were very personal and told us their story, which was really cool to hear. we had to go back the next night to garnish the alfredo and get the steak tacos, and for the desert got the homemade apple cake and cheesecake. that confirmed how much we love this place. will make sure that every time I get into seward. thanks to elle and bing that they offer us an excellent service.

What a shady! ms. gene’s place is a must when in seward. eating is exquisite. the employees bing lis are amazing and the ambiente is juicy and very elegant. I love it, look at this

Absolutely fantastic and my favorite restaurant in Alaska so far. The halibut cheek was to die for and came with suggested salad and wine pairings that made the entire meal a dream. AND the service was amazing. The waitress Elizabeth was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. I honestly wish I could give even more stars. I can't wait to go back.
