New Year's Eve At Navona - Albany

The wife and I were out for dinner and decided to give it a try...boy are we glad we did. The food was very good, the service was excellent...wood fire pizza is outstanding!! Prices are not out of sight and we felt we received an excellent all-around evening for the price. If there are only two of you ask for the high-top tables, only two of them, across from the wood-fired oven...it was fun to watch the chef cook in a true wood-fired oven. We will definitely be back!!!

Delicious! This spot is such a gem and I'm so glad I finally tried it. Went for my birthday and it did not disappoint! I was tempted by the pizza especially since that's what everyone else at the table got, but I was so happy with the cod. The yogurt sauce that was under the pearled farro combined with the pickled mustard seed was divine. Dessert options were great and the s'mores mousse tart was so fun! Great service and lovely atmosphere. Coming back for the pizza!

This is a terrific restaurant. Well-prepared healthy food. Friendly staff. Usually a good craft draft available, and if not, the cocktails are excellent. A little pricey, but worth the cost.

I ordered the Fire roasted cauliflower. A little charred but not cooked. 1/2 a Carrot and another vegetable, not cooked. Very Small green salad was ok. It was a plate of raw vegetables. No taste or flavor. So disappointed being everyone else loved their meal. My son got the same dish to take home to his wife. She agreed with me, especially for the price. Fortunately, the appetizers were good, so I didn't leave hungry.

We love Navona; the chef continually wows us. Would love the polenta and egg back on the menu!
