Farmer Boy Diner - Albany

Dear Farmer Boy. Big diner in Colonie. Probably the best. Server was friendly and prompt. Coffee is good and that's the food. We just go to breakfast, but they also have a small bar for people who want a cocktail. You should check it. (Cupcake on the photo is not from them)

We went to dinner. I ordered the roasted turkey dinner that was delicious and came with a very generous part of turkey potatoes, gravy and homemade filling. My wife had a steak that was cooked to order and also delicious. For an app we had the French onion soup, which was delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who cooked after a delicious home style meal and the prices were very reasonable.

I have not been to this establishment for quite some time. I would give zero stars if allowed. The cook here is a real jerk. If you order toast, he gives you these small little ends that come out burnt. The food arrives cold and is very expensive for what you get. This used to be a good place when Jimmy ran it, but now it is a complete fail! Don't worry, I won't come back and second, it would better since you have been closed for so long to stay closed and sell to someone who knows how to run a restaurant and treat patrons unlike you! Poor service and food!

This place looks great. Question for the owner. Are you going online? Or are you closed? Or plan the reopening. I'm interested in the location. I would really welcome an answer. Thanks in advance.

Our first time at this diner on Central Avenue and we were very pleased! My husband had the Mexican omelet and I had the French toast. Both were delish! The coffee was also great! Our cups were never empty, thanks to the frequent top offs by the friendly, attentive wait staff. We cannot wait to return with our daughter!
