Bidra med feedbackMy mother always said if the salsa with the chips are good, then they have good food. Let me tell you something about this place the salsa is not a joke especially the green, so if you don't like spicy stay away from the green. The food here is fenomenal for the price and portion and taste was like food in Mexico authentic to the last bite all meat tender. I always come back.
Exquisitely prepared Mexican cuisine. Lovely people and the yummiest, most complex flavors that make me salivate thinking about Cocina Vasquez. They deliver the flavors of Oaxaca with a smile. You can taste and feel the love. HIGHLY recommend you try it.
Went for the first time the other night (with a friend and got the chorizo burrito (for them and the chorizo torta for me. Both came out pretty quickly, plus they super fresh and great! Also very authentic food and it reminds me of where I grew up. The restaurant itself is simply designed (great blue colors on the walls! and very casual, but still very comfortable and cute. Can't wait to go again and finally try the tacos.
Truly delicious! We got salted beef tacos, chicken taquitos, and cheese empanadas. The portions are very generous and great value!
I have been eyeing this restaurant for some time and I am thrilled that I finally got a chance to try it out. I ordered a Cafe con leche (absolutely delicious), chorizo empanada (crispy, cheesy, and delicious. I loved the addition of salad cheese to balance the dish), chorizo con huevos (flavorful chorizo, could have used more eggs but still excellent), and the huevos en salsa verde (good, but a bit too spicy for my taste). The rice and beans were cooked perfectly, and the homemade tortillas that came with each dish were a great touch. The portion sizes were generous and prices were very affordable. The atmosphere was casual with around 7 tables for seating, and the staff was friendly. They also accept credit cards.
