Golden Crown Chinese Aberdeen

I placed an order for food at 5:15 pm with an expected delivery time of 6:05-6:20 pm. By 6:20 pm, there was no sign of the food, so I contacted the restaurant for an update. They then changed the delivery time to 6:50 pm, but the food still had not arrived by then. I called the restaurant at 7:15 pm and was informed that the driver had not taken the food when he left for deliveries. I asked them to cancel the order on Uber Eats, but they said they needed to speak to a manager and would call me back. After calling them again, I was told they were going to call me back. I insisted on canceling through Uber Eats and eventually got my money back. At 7:45 pm, their delivery driver showed up at my door with the food, but I turned him away as I had already canceled the order. The driver claimed he was not informed that the order was canceled. This lack of communication with customers and staff is unacceptable. I will never return to this restaurant due to their poor service.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this restaurant! Our delivery was over an hour late (almost 2 hours) and the delivery driver was rude, demanding a delivery charge that had already been paid before handing over the cold, greasy food. It was unacceptable to send such slop to customers. We couldn't even salvage it by trying to warm it up, so it went straight into the trash. When we called to complain, we were met with more rudeness. Absolutely terrible experience.

Worst chinese I've ever had. The chicken was slimey, the veg was black and rotten the curry was to thick and to spicy and the shredded chilli chicken must have had a whole bottle of syrup in it that it was unedible. Disgrace. Read the reviews and stay clear of this place

I have used this takeaway in the past and had good meals but the chinese guy taking the order had come across as borderline rude/ignorant in the past but I had given him the benefit of the doubt. Ordered a meal last night (27 Oct 20) at 1800hrs for 2. I ordered shredded chilli chicken and also honey chilli chicken, with side portions of chips and curry sauce. My meal of shredded chilli chicken was loverly as usual but the honey chilli chicken was reported as dry by partner, and the chips were litterally dried out and inedible. So I called and politely gave feedback expressing that that the shredded cicken was loverly but fed back the negatives of the above and stated the chips couldn 't be eaten. The guy retorted with I was the only complaint he had had and all the food was freshly made. I pointed out that the chips certainly did not taste or look fresh and were like cardboard and he initially thanked me for letting him know. I asked if he would be giving a credit note for my next order. I was then shocked when he rudely replied with I don 't care what you think of the food !!! I will never set foot in this poor excuse of a takeaway again and I hope folk reading this will take heed not to either. What a rude ignorant idividual who obviously takes people for granted.

Everything was nice but you chicken curry was so salty, sorry won't be ordering again it never used to be so salty
