Moxie's Grill Bar - Abbotsford

We moved to the seattle area of Texas almost 4 months ago and were quite home sick for good eating and service during eating. it was so disappointing that we just stop eating together. today we visited kanada for the first time ever and instead of going to vancouver, we decided to check what abbotsford had to offer. after an evening in a local casino we decided to eat it was time. To be honest, I feared it because everything I have experienced overpriced eating and moderate service anywhere we have eaten since the move to seattle. I can't even describe the pleasant surprise we found in moxie. it started when the very friendly barkeeper let us choose our seat and quickly presented us with menus. He promised someone would be over to serve us. meaghan followed soon and from the moment when she appeared on our table, we knew that we met the perfect culinary choice. they made excellent suggestions on different menu points. we chose the table page guacamole, but since we are from Texas and make well versed in guacamole, we saved them the mourning to make it tableside. we just wanted good guacamole and she didn't disappoint here. I had the new yorker strip with the peppermint brandy sauce and it was by far the only best meal I had in a restaurant in 4 months. my man had the salmon and avocado ochsalate and ate almost every piece of it. meaghan kept our drinks full of his hard limonade and my dr. pepper because I drove. I have tried to get a drink, but she has made a fantastic task to convince me how bad it is to risk a dui in canada, it is obviously a solid so that I played it safely. for that she is great. she is really good no, great at her job. we had never felt that she was intrusive and she would just stay long enough to chat and then go on over her business. the manager in the service even came by to chat for a few. we didn't catch their names, but we just have about our experience and how great meaghan was. these texas young are very grateful for Moxie’s, because we are given to decent places to eat. if the owners read this, please take care of these people, because they are really a good fortune for their business. World-class service, high end and trendy atmosphere, and the perfect medley of the aromas in the food guarantees our return.

I visit this place regularly, it is right next to the hotel. great atmosphere, eating is amazing. madison is one of the servers at this location. she has a good opportunity with customers who feel very comfortable and always helps to recommend a great meal. the dinner experience would not be the same without them.

The girls are sweet here, although I only made a few take-out orders during the stay in the connection hotel. that was in order! I had the bun and the ribs and ahi thunfischsalat. I would give this place 3.5 if I could! I like the atmosphere! big screens to watch any events.

Moxies is a beautiful facility, but unfortunately that's the only good thing. It's the worst restaurant in Abbotsford in every other way. The service and food are consistently horrible. I gave it many tries, but on my last visit, I found multiple long hairs in my food, and the didn't care. The staff and management don't show that they care for people in any way. I would vote zero stars if I could.

Horrible service. Our server forgot multiple requests until he was reminded. Also very, very slow despite not being busy. Our food was warm at best as it sat while waiting for our server to remember to bring it. Small portions for the price. Both steaks ordered were under cooked. We will definitely not be back.
