Bidra med feedbackI have dined at Green Garden many times for both lunch and dinner, trying out their buffet as well as various menu items. It is without a doubt my favorite place to eat. I have brought several friends and they have all been impressed as well! The restaurant is located slightly off the beaten path near the freeway, giving it a charming, cozy ambiance. The new owners and management have really hit the mark this time. The manager Alex is always welcoming and the kitchen staff is highly trained in Asian culinary techniques. The food portions are generous and of excellent quality – the sweet and sour boneless pork and fried rice are standout dishes. The buffet allows you to eat to your heart’s content without feeling stuffed or bloated afterward. I frequent this restaurant several times a month because of the exceptional service and delicious food. I highly recommend giving Green Garden a try – you won’t be disappointed!
My husband and I decided to try out this restaurant for dinner on Friday night after seeing an ad in the local newspaper. The staff was extremely friendly and provided us with helpful recommendations on what to order. The menu had a variety of options including pho, hot pots, and traditional Chinese dishes. We ended up ordering the house special egg foo young, garlic beef, veggie fried rice, and chicken chow mein. The portions were larger than what we usually get at our usual spot, and everything was delicious and fresh. My wife particularly enjoyed the egg foo young, while I thought the ginger beef was exceptional. We even had enough leftovers for the next day. The owner mentioned they have a buffet on Saturdays and Sundays, so we plan on returning to try it out and see if the quality matches the a la carte menu. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back.
My wife and I noticed a new restaurant had opened behind the Chevron station and we decided to give it a try.
I have eaten here many times for both lunch and dinner; and personally put the buffet through its paces as well as several menu ordered items. The Green Garden is by far my favorite place to eat. I have introduced several guests and they haven't been disappointed either!LOCATION:This restaurant location has had several previous owners and themes but the new owners and management have the perfect combination this time! The location is slightly off the beaten path and close to the freeway. Unless you were looking for it; you might miss it. I find this is part of it's charm. It's small enough to be cozy, yet large enough to host a group.Green Garden is a great place for a couples night out, family gathering or just friends getting together.MANAGEMENT & STAFF:Alex the manager is always warm and friendly. He has several Asian culinary disciplines under his belt and an excellently trained kitchen staff. Alex brings top notch service and product that is sadly lacking in todays restaurant scene; because of this killer combination I eat here several times a month! It has always been a pleasure to eat here.FOOD:The portions are ample and of high quality.{I attached a dinner for 3 photo with hot pot.}A great example is the sweet and sour boneless pork... No stringy or gristly pieces.Another fantastic example is the fried rice! The fried rice is light and fluffy with just the right amount of smoke. Never heavy or greasy much less overbearing. Always a delight to eat as I hate rice as a rule. BUFFET:You can eat till stuffed without inducing the dreaded food coma or feeling bloated. Better yet, you won't be hungry in an hour or bolt for the bathroom in 30 minutes like other Chinese restaurants. You will always leave feeling satiated. There is a smaller weekday lunch buffet that will run you about 10 bucks and a larger Saturday dinner buffet for around 20. {rounded off ballpark prices}.As the restaurant is currently in the establishing phase; just ask for the buffet if it isn't out and they will make it fresh for you! If you go in with a large group just call in advance and it will be ready on time for your guests arrival.WOULD YOU GO BACK?Absolutely! As I have mentioned previously. I eat here several times a month. When you go, tell Alex, Sven sent you.
Went here for dinner Friday night to give it a try, noticed ad in the local paper. Staff was very friendly to us and helpful making several suggestions as to what we might like to try. Menu is very good with selection of pho and hot pots to choose from as well as standard Chinese dishes. We had house special egg foo young garlic beef veggie fried rice and chicken chow mein. Portions were larger then we usually get at our regular place and everything was very tasty and fresh. Wife was very impressed with the egg foo young and i thought ginger beef was excellent. We left with a lot of food for the next day too which was great. We will be back owner also told us they have buffet on Saturdays and Sundays so we will be giving that a try and hoping the quality is as good as the ala carte menu..
