The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly and accommodating! A couple of things to keep in mind: For vegetarians wishing to have breakfast here, make sure to mention if you do not eat meat as the standard assortment may include it. Also, the rooms are very nice but be aware that the bathroom door and shower door are see-through, so if you are sharing a room, you will be on display to your companion.

I only stayed at this restaurant for a few days, but they were truly wonderful despite the gloomy and rainy weather. This was all thanks to the kindness and hospitality of the owner and staff. I would highly recommend it.

The food was delicious and the ambiance had a very old-world charm.

What an absolutly wonderful place to stay. From the moment you walk in the door, you just feel so welcomed by the warm staff and, the homely feeling of the building. It's a small establishment so you get such personalized care that larger hotels lack. If you are planning to stay, their breakfast is delish!! Me and my friends just had such a lovely stay and we will definitely be back the next time we decide to visit beautiful Belgium!! Could not reccomend this place more! (Also try the koninginnehapje, its so so so good hehe! Xo

Nice big cosy terrace, need to reserve on sunny days during popular times late afternoon and evening. Good selection of local cuisine (which isn 't very special, same 'croques etc. everywhere) but also some international dishes, e.g. great spareribs and burgers, great deserts and well known for it 's 'high tea '. Best place in Zutendaal.
