Rung Tawan Thai Shop - Zug

In my opinion, the best place for Thai food in Zug (open for lunch only). This is a small grocery store and the owner prepares daily approx. 5 different meals before. Usually a curry with shrimp, chicken or beef, padthai etc. Curries are served with white rice. The flavors are amazing. The food is so delicious that I wish the portions were a little bigger. You can dip (only a few tables available) or remove. The only drawback to eat is that the place does not have the best ventilation and in the end you smell Thai food in the rest of the day.

Gegenteilig zu den vielen positiven Bewertungen war der Grund, warum ich hierher kam, das Essen (Poulet Satay), das fast geschmacklos gewürzt war (als ob man eine fertige Satay-Sauce verwässert hätte). Das Poulet war mehlig und trocken. Dafür am Mittag 18 CHF für Take Away zu verlangen, ist schon fast eine Frechheit. Schade, ich hatte mich auf eine gute thailändische Küche gefreut.

Best Thai cuisine in the city. The restaurant is a hidden pearl in train and offers delicious Thai food that you can either eat or take with you in your authentic restaurant. The staff is always super friendly and lunch at the Rung Tawan Thai Shop feels like on holiday in Thailand. Kop-khun-krub for serving such delicious dishes.
