Bidra med feedbackThey usually offer three dishes a day plus standards from the menu. It is a normal cafe till approx 5 pm (except Sundays) and the becomes a restaurant with mainly Turkish cuisine. On Sundays there is a very nice breakfast but unfortunately only from 1pm onwards It is a relaxed place. There are backgammons and other game to be picked if one wants to play. The downside is that the service is rather slow. Portions are also slightly small.
We went here for dinner after introduced to this restaurant by a couple of friends. What we like about this cafe is the fact that it is never over crowded, so we normally get seats without problem. We can relax, chill out, while eating calmly without rushing. Our favourite dish is the menu of the day which consists of lentil soup which is so great to eat together with their very warm and succulent home-made bread. Then, the main dish is lamb with rice. The lamb was soft and cooked with perfection, and the rice was unique (similar to glutinuous rice). We enjoy our meal very much and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wish to try out unique Turkish dishes.
We had breakfast here on Easter Monday, when many other places were closed. Received friendly service and good quality food. Clean and tidy. For the highest rating, the interior would have to be cozier.
Very fine patisserie. Great ambience. And very nice service.
Sometimes that's exactly what you need when you're a tourist an unpretentious place for a simple breakfast/brunch, to which you can go more than once and feel at home. I'll be honest the food is well prepared but is not special, and the decor is rather generic. Yet the kindness and joviality of the servers, the locals that fill the place, all contribute to a pleasant experience at a decent price (rare in Zurich) and made us go there twice in a row.
