Bidra med feedbackIn general, we were tasted well on the winery by the Rheinhessen guide and mentioned that the information given there is not correct. The winery opens several times a year from Friday to Sunday and presents these weekends under a motto such as cozy winter days, wild weeks or spring awakenings. Parking is available on the farm or on the street and wine shopping is also possible during the visit. Service In the service it is noticeable that it is just a Strauss business and simply does not lack the overview and experience. The ladies were all nice, but the arrangement with the kitchen did not take place, otherwise one would have known what is no longer in offer, food did not come together after the 1st. Glass of wine that we have long been ignored, the plates remained excessively long.... there's plenty of air up there. The menu is typical of a wine shop, hand cheese, viticulture vesper, pumpkin soup, something disappointed we were from the wild offer so we came extra! The Vesper was eaten, the homemade sausage was tastefully good, the Bratwurst was a pepperbeat, it was ok. There is nothing wrong with a foil potato with a cannon, the wild burger was ok, the frikadelle neatly roasted, the bread fresh, the deer calves very well, butterfly, the sauce tasty, the napkin tips fluffy and the red herbs was also ok, but here the part could have been a bit bigger. In any case, the extensive range of wine is usually young, fresh and spicy white wines, but also ripe red wines, the glasses far above the oak and all for small money! The ambience The ambience is beautiful, only a typical Strausswirtschaft with large tables, where you sit together, is the open fireplace. Cleanliness The place worked neatly well maintained and clean, the glasses without edges, the wrapped cutlery polished on the tables that was ok.
