We decided after a long day of park activity that it would be too hard to get into the car to find another place to eat and so reluctantly decided to eat in the Biergarten, but it turned out to be surprisingly tasty. Good food...and good beer though my pour was a tad short :
I needed a place to take a break from the grandkids. Didn't have cell option in Germany (was visiting the Czech Republic) so the free WiFi was a bonus. Good service. Great beer. And excellent food.
A great place to enjoy a beer and some food after a busy day at the park. It was well shaded, lots of space to sit and enjoy the birds and the flowers. Less food options than the main restaurant in the park only...one option for the kids meal (that comes with a toy) but wasn't a real problem for us. A bit of a walk to find the bathroom. Same as the park, return your used dishes to the right place to get a deposit back.
The previous reviews are mixed, some seem to be about the main restaurant, whilst I understand the Biergarten to be the outside Biergarten that opens at 6pm, so will review that here. We ate here as we didn't realise that the main restaurant shut so...early (the park is open till 7pm) and missed eating there. For adults, the roast pig on the spit is great, the meal sizes reasonable and it is nice sitting outside. The kids' meal is Kloss in sauce (no alternative), which my kids hated (I had thought they might like it), so we got some Nurnburger sausages instead. The staff were friendly and service prompt. A bit confusing to figure out where to take the crockery back to get the 2 EUR deposit per plate or glass back but we figured it out!
