Bidra med feedbackWe are regularly at the Kon-Tiki and put together our food from finger food, which the children especially like. The corn flasks and the homemade dips are first cream (whoever likes it sharply should ask for the Argentine chili dip); We can't say anything about meat. The couple of cocktails we have tried so far were also very delicious; the fine alcohol-free cocktails take a whole double side. The previous services were always very nice. Telephone reservation is recommended, at the latest on the (heated) terrace there is usually a place, ceilings are also available. One of the few restaurants on the peninsula, which have opened reliably even in winter, although limited.
Essen was significantly better this time than just a year ago. Operation could be much more attentive.
Okay, I have to admit, I can't be objective. So there are no 5 stars. I already know the cocktail bar forever and also the owner and many employees who had worked there in the years. There are good but also less good experiences in every place. However, the bottom line is good. I even like it very well and I have spent several nights there with a very nice and great evening. Live music used to exist, but unfortunately the neighbors complained so that there were no live bands at least in the garden; The cocktails usually taste very good, especially the variety of drinks make fun to try more. If it was empty, because outside the season, something is mixed individually. Several years ago, the pure cocktail bar was extended into a steak house. The steaks are really tasty. But above all, it is the specialties such as kangaroo, gnu or crocodile that spoil the palate. Only hook: It's a bit more expensive. However, it is also due to the fact that it is located in the middle of the tourist area and is rather visited in winter because fewer potential customers are in the place. Most of these were the most beautiful evenings then on weekends because the shop was not as crowded as in summer. In winter, however, there are usually any offers concerning food. I like it there and I go back.
Very nice location. Super location, even with small children playground. So we decided to finish the evening with steaks and cocktails after a busy bike tour. Unfortunately, after approx. 15 minutes to go again, because the waiter neither welcomed us, nor emptied the full ashtray or cleaned the glasses from the predecessor. I always understand when the store is full and you are in stress but a short moment please is the minimum. Because of the ignorance of the waiter, we had at least enough time to study the infallible map. Admittedly, this has made it very easier for our decision not to wait longer for service. The cocktails, on the other hand, looked very delicious from far. Unfortunately, we will never find out if they are... Conclusion: not recommended!
When we arrived there was no free space. We were kindly received and first took place at the bar. There we bridged the waiting period with the first cocktail. When choosing the table, consideration was given to our special needs (table on the edge, so that the dog has rest). The food didn't convince us. The steak was fair and hard. The meat in the fire pot was partly also hard, the vegetables from the can. The cocktails were great. Caipis in different varieties: with vodka, Martini or Ramazotti fantastic! Conclusion: Food rather no, for cocktail drinking in a nice atmosphere with accommodating operation very much.
