Paty's Marimar - ZIHUATANEJO

The food at this beach bar restaurant was average. What made this restaurant so much fun was the lovely sunsets, feet in the sand while enjoying their fantastic happy hour two for one margaritas. Who cares if the food is just average when you are having so much with the beachside experience!

My daughters and I walked down the beach to Paty's for lunch two afternoons on la Ropa, and enjoyed both times. The service was good, food was great, and drinks were cold. Still a good value!

Been here many times, mixed review this time. Wanted a spot on La Ropa so we could take son swimming in ocean…many open spots at 10 am but most chairs were cracked or broken. Had to ask for service a few times before we got a menu. Took about 15 minutes to get our 2 lemonades. Shrimp tacos were delectable and amazing as always. Homemade fries were awesome! Need much more attentive staff and to upgrade their beach chairs.

One of many beach front bar/restaurants along La Ropa beach but this had beers nearly double the price as others. Left without ordering anything.

Paty’s was recommended to us my our AirBNB hosts because of the convenient location and all day menu including very decent breakfast options. Drinks are very tasty and not watered down. Big plus is you can get a nice table with an umbrella and lounge chairs and not have to pay $200 pesos for the privilege. Just get there early. Only down side is sometimes sketchy service depending on the waiter you end up with. Also check the math on your bill before paying. Additional bonus is direct access to sailing and board rentals from the best crew on La Ropa.
