Reasonable prices, great food and location in Maderia. Arlando is such a charming waiter, he is going to become great one day.

I ve read the previous reviews so mine my seem bias which is not ! After walking by several times and noticing the ribs on the BBQ . which admittedly looked very good . we decided to give My Sunshine a try . as mentioned JR the waiter is a good hawker . We ordered Two tuna steaks dinners and Two rib dinners for the four of us . I was assured the tuna was fresh when asked about it . When the dinners arrived they looked pleasant and inviting , the tuna had a mango cream sauce which was good . Ribs looked good also plates had rice and nice salad accompaniment. overall the food was just OK RIbs were just ok nothing great basically they are just spiced up with like a Framks hot sauce not a BBQ sauce style at all !! Tuna was good asked for a quick sear on both sides , hard to tell as it was covered in sauce . This is where it all ends !! Firstly Nothing is cooked on the BBQ that sits on the front street its all made in the kitchen in the back , you may notice down the street they BBQ in front of most clients !! , the kitchen staff use the little washroom in the middle which has to be flushed with a bucket !! yes it is Mexico , however not one of them washed there hands !! on the way out . This may explain why two of us ended up with Tourista shortly after and the next day and I consider myself as having a cast iron gut !! The dinner ware is sorta out of someone's cabin , nothing matches plastic worn out plates and glasses . OK BE PREPARED !! THEY PAD THE BILLS BY FALSLEY ADDING A TAX AT THE END OF THE BILL YOU WILL SEE YOUR TOTAL AND ANOTHER NUMBER WITH TIP OPTIONAL ADDED . WE PAID THE BILL AND THE OTHER NUMBER WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS THE TIP PORTION . UPON LEAVING WE WERE YES !! CHASED DOWN THE STREET BY JR AND ONE OF OWNERS CLAMING WE HAD ONLY !! PAID THE BILL PORTION !! WHAT !!! YES JR EXPLIANS THE OTHER NUMBER IS A TAX AND WE LEFT NO TIP !!! SO I GAVE HIM ANOTHER $100 PESOS . THIS PUTS MY SUNSHINE WITH TIP AND TAX ??? OVER $250 PESOS PER MEAL WHICH IT IS NOT THAT KIND OF ESTABLISMENT !!! THATS ON PAR WITH COCONUTS ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE PLACES IN ZIH ! this really bothered me so I asked several other restaurant owners that night , who seemed horrified that MY SUNSHIUNE charged a tax on top of the meal !!! no other place we ate at over the years does this !!! I quizzed JR the next day and he gave me some b s story about accounting RIGHT !!!! JR . I cannot recommend this place based on this PRACTICE !!!

A small cafe located on one of the nicest streets in Zihua .... don't miss out on the best ribs ever .

Stopped in for supper, to have the Pork ribs, and some fish. Dining area is kinda tucked in off the street, and seemed a little makeshift. The Guacamole was very well done, but the rest was just average. Staff tries very hard to please. Although it's on Adilita, it's prices seemed a little high for the ambience. Maybe we were just unlucky, but there's a lot of really good restaurants out there!

We were invited in by JR and thought we'd give it a try. The servise was fast and the food excellent.
