El Suspiro Restaurante - ZIHUATANEJO

Benito and staff were amazing, attentive and went beyond to make our meal special. The food was excellent as well recommend tuna carpaccio appetizer.

A tremendous view of the sunset over Zihuat bay and the twinkling lights of the town! Dinner was lovely, especially the risotto, and the service was lovely.

On our last two trips to Zihua we ate a restaurant that had a spectacular view, food service......and price. On this trip, we made acquaintances with another couple who said they knew of a restaurant with an equally appealing view and good food, at half the price – El Suspiro. They weren’t wrong. The view was spectacular and the overall value was very good. The food was delicious and the service superior to most restaurants in the area. Come for the sunset!

We love this restaurant. From the moment you enter the place you are in for a treat. This is not a place that you come for a quick meal but to enjoy an evening of relaxation. The views are spectacular and the sunsets amazing. You are overlooking the entire city of Zihuatanejo and the magnificent La Ropa Bay. There are no bad tables to have here. Drinks are served almost as you are seated, and the staff do an amazing job of making you feel welcome. The food is reasonably priced not Mexican, more Mediterranean with plenty of pasta, seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. If you have a smaller appetite, sharing a meal can be helpful! The service is outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy.
