Country Fried Chicken - ZIHUATANEJO

Good chicken. We only ordered the Chicken, none of the sides. Good deals and the sides looked good but we had other food so we just got the chicken.

Picked up 12 pieces of chicken and two large coleslaws for about 21 cnd . Coleslaw a little watery but still pretty good. Chicken moist and not greasy better than KFC or Marry Browns back home. Excellent deal and really good chicken, high recommend.

Or at least it's the only place I know of, but it's very good. I had been here a few times last year with a friend but forgot where it was. I found it again today and the 2 pieces I had were devoured in a matter of minutes. For 70 pesos (a little over $3.00) you get 2 pieces of your choice of fried chicken, cole slaw, and mashed potatoes. It really is excellent chicken and a hell of a lot better than KFC or Popeyes (I do like Churches though) but it's a bit tastier.I live here all year round and one can only eat tacos for so long, so it actually makes it a treat, if you like fried chicken I recommend it highly.

Colonel Saunders does not have anything on the chicken served here. The chicken is fresh with a great coating. Great place to pick up a delicious evening meal.

We decided to walk over after reading a few reviews to give it a try. Our group of four decided to order the twelve piece meal (wrong as the 8 piece would have been sufficient). The chicken was moist on the inside, crispy on the exterior, flavorsome and well seasoned. Sides consisted of mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw as well as the optional buns and gravy (we were on vacation so we went for the full deal). We will be back the next time we are in Zihua!
