Bidra med feedbackI can only give 3 stars on Sunday brunch. Nothing really hit me from the chair. Especially the desserts I found all mediocre. Bread and cheese selection was solid, but there is no need for all piff. I'm not the biggest carnivore, it would be hard to find something. As a vegetarian, I wouldn't be happy there. Vegan, it's obviously not in the district. There are no regional products or a line. Solid German cuisine meets more. Even if Zeuthen is not a big city and the pension house next door, I would have expected more refinement from such a house, even if the brunch was not particularly expensive. I would rather have dispensed with the countless dishes that are extended to 2 rooms and want classes instead of mass. Everything was, I had cooked at home in the same quality. Shame! The hotel is great and it is the only way to eat extensive breakfast in Zeuthen. Also the reservation had worked well and was friendly for Berlin conditions. I'll come back with my grandmother or I'd rather invite my guests home.

We drove spontaneously to Zeuthen. We've been there more often. From greetings to walking there was nothing to complain, everything was excellent. The food was as always delicious and varied. In the map there are not many dishes but for every taste etws, I think and always fresh, which is difficult with a more extensive map. We like to come back.
On the occasion of a visit to Berlin, we stayed right in front of the gates of Berlin at Seehotel Zeuthen. This beautiful 4* hotel is located in the Dahme lake area directly on Lake Zeuthen and features the Fontane restaurant, which I want to report to you here. First a few comments on the ambience. Before you get to the restaurant, you get through the generously cut and furnished bar, which actually invites you to stay through damped light. Directly from the bar, it goes into a very large room that houses the restaurant Fontane. At the entrance you will receive very kindly, ask for a possible reservation without it, but of course also) and then guided directly to the table. If you are looking a little bit, the stylish ambience and the magnificent view of the lake immediately arise, but this is due to the a little graceful waiting hall character of the hall. A little more privacy at the tables would certainly not hurt. However, as the hotel is a well-known and popular meeting place, the participants of which are made to the restaurant, it is unlikely to be possible to change the somewhat angular arrangement of the tables. If you look beyond this little thing, you can quickly see that this is a restaurant of the top class. Our arrangement included a 3-course menu €21,50), and we immediately pointed out that a change would of course be possible. I liked the selection and so I stayed with pumpkin soup, ragsteak with mushroom sauce and rosemary potatoes, Crème Brûlée with sour cherries. However, my accompaniment preferred the Märkische Potatosüppchen €5,50) and the calf livers with onions, apple rings and ram potatoes € 15.50. As a non-winner we asked for a recommendation from the very extensive wine map and immediately received expert advice. After the formalities were completed, we immediately received an appetizer in the form of small bread slices and three different dips. This was a delicious garlic dip and a delicious basil dip. To my shame, I must confess that the third dip is mine. Sorry. After a reasonable time, the soup was formally served. Both portions were rich and very decorative. Thus, the pumpkin soup was refined with a shot of cream, which made not only visually a good impression but also excellently tasted. The potato soup had plenty of inlay and the fried sausage slices gave a nice strong taste. The main courses served afterwards were a poem! Rumsteak proved to be a buttery tender and could have gone through as a fillet. The meat was surrounded by a bright sauce with a large portion of mushrooms. For my taste, maybe there was a little too much sauce on the plate, but as I said, this is a matter of taste. The dish was rounded off by rosemary sprinkles decorated as columns on the plate. All in all, an absolute pale man's mouse, who has motivated me to align my compliment with the kitchen. Who believes that the liver is a profane dish, which is enormously mistaken here. Firstly, it was a sensationally fried calf liver, which was able to develop its full taste through the apple rings and the second was dressed with a sauce which I had not yet tried in the form. The onions and apples were obviously included in the preparation. Really brilliant!! Last but not least the dessert came to the table. As already mentioned, there was a Crème Brûlée here, which was decorated with sour cherries and figs. Here too the full score. The crème was just perfectly prepared. I think it is unnecessary to say that we enjoyed the evening very much. The feeling of well-being came not only through the excellent food but also through the professional service. The staff consists almost exclusively of young people who are very well trained and friendly to take care of the guests. Thus, for example, the ordered wine bottle stood not directly on the table but in sight and it was presented unrequested without having to ask. Shortly to the menu in general. The offer of dishes is quite clear, but has something to offer for every taste, hunger and purse. In addition to fish and meat, vegetarian dishes, soups and salads are also offered. If someone isn't going to find it, I think that the kitchen is creative and flexible enough to help.
