Bidra med feedbackBelieve it or not, it was hard to find a Spanish restaurant that served this famous dish! We checked Trip Advisor and saw this place reviewed. It was only a few blocks from our great hotel (The Alfonso). The window menu did not have it listed, but when we inquired we were led to a lovely back room with great service and a good meal of exactly what we came for.
We came in a bit too early but were seated and served nevertheless. It is a bit too late to eat at 8 p.m. for us scandinavians but that is the way they do in Spain. My husband had the menu (26, euros and I had cochinillo confitado. Everything tasted good and the service was ok. It is a bit difficult as nobody speaks English here in Zaragoza and our knowledge of Spanish is limited, but we have managed to have food anyhow.
We had dinner on saturday evening. It was very crowded (with locals) and although we hadn't reserved we got a table and were served as if were regular guests. That makes the difference ! but the food was also excellent and the bill more than reasonable. Thank you for a lovely meal and evening.
