Have visited this lively cafe numerous times and will return if ever we are in the area. Very welcoming, lovely staff and they make their own amazing gelato. They also serve lunch and appertivo's, and are open till late at night which is fantastic. We've enjoyed lunch here as well drinks, snacks and of course... gelato. It's a lovely, very well managed family business which is evident by the cleanliness of the place and how tastefully decorated it is. There's a beautiful modern garden area that's nice to sit in as well. Even the toilets are great which is not always the case in Italy. This place is frequented by lots of locals which is proof of the quality of what they offer. I highly recommend visiting here if you are in the area.
Came here with friends, and it all started out good, place looks decent, friendly personnel and a promising selection of ice cream, however, my excitement was shortlived. I ordered an icecream for 5€, cannot even remember the name as it was something Italian, they limited the choice of flavors to just 2, which is okay I guess, a bit dumb but okay. So I go for Stracciatella and Cafè, and for some reason they do not have Cafè or Mocca? Shocking, I know. Quite shocking. So I go for 3x stracciatella as I am very limited in the flavors that I like, so yea there we go, 3x Straccia coming up! Then I am greeted by a glass with 3 scoops of ice cream that really couldn’t be bothered, a cookie with a severe case of Dwarfism and a clear case of “where-the-heck-did-the-chocolate-sauce-go”. Needless to say, I have never been this salty over a damn Ice Cream. Plus well, a fast service wasn’t given either, not for us at least.. 2 tables that arrived after us were served before us. And last but not least: from the moment it gets a but crowded, you nearly gotta shout before anyone can understand you through all the echoes, partially because italians are just loud, but more so because the walls had more windows than decorations (they have 3 windows btw)
We were going to eat an ice cream after several years and the place improved it with the parts outside. ice cream is average.
