This restaurant has a limited selection and is the only doughnut shop that does not offer doughnut holes! It's absurd that you have to call ahead and request them. However, my favorite doughnut shop in Zanesville, Ohio is Happy's Doughnuts. Check it out!

Make sure to stop by when you're in town. While the prices are on the higher side like most places, the donuts are delicious, the staff is friendly, and there is ample parking available.

Stopped into Zanesville to try Donald’s Donuts and they were solid. If you’re driving along the interstate and like donuts, pop in! The yeast donuts in particular were exceptional.The shop is small but the parking lot was convenient to get in and out of (even with a trailer ha). Those working there were polite and helpful.We tried a variety of donuts and here are my thoughts:1. The plain glazed was my favorite. It was so light and airy on the inside, raised and fried. The glaze was the perfect level of sweet.2. The worker who served me recommended the cake stick and this was delicious. The cake donut was a bit crisp on the outside with a soft inside and the plain glaze on it was perfect.3. The chocolate iced cake donut was ok. I wasn’t impressed with the cake dough here and the chocolate icing was weak in terms of real coco powder.4. The chocolate iced long John was yeast dough and pretty good but I’m not as big of a fan of filled donuts.5. The other cake donuts I tried were similarly a little dry on the inside and lacking the crisp outside I did find with the cake stick.I wish I could have tried the double chocolate and the sour cream glazed but it was sold out.If I’m driving on I 70 again and have time I would go again! I make it a point to try donut shops across the country and these were definitely above average.

We moved about 30 minutes away from Zanesville and this is what we miss the most. Best donuts you'll ever find!! We actually get them in place if a birthday cake for my son. Won't eat cake, but will eat a chocolate cream filled. Seriously. You cannot find a donut that even compares to Donald's.
