Fox & Fiddle Restaurant - York

Visited this restaurant before a theatre production just steps away. The atmosphere was good. There are inside dining room and terrace. The washrooms were modern and somewhat clean. The staff was quick and friendly and the food was cheap and good.

Allowed for a quick bite to eat, was wonderful the game was to see so much activity. Food was good, service and I liked the trendy furnishings.

I was in the last 20 years just a few paints in this restaurant, the last time that we were there about a year ago, it had changed the menu no more bark ripening that were delicious and the service was drastically good. too poor. was not a nice experience and has not been revisited since.

The place is beautiful.... but has no mood, the few times we were there, the staff had no interest to talk to us or even take our mission.... It's bad that the location is great and the place could be something... but it's 3... times.... we're out!

Went after a long week's worth of business meetings, was impressed with the cold beer (Guinness . We tried the calamari and...it was excellent! Not chewy at all, with nice blend of spices. The Guinness (of course! pot pie was excellent, and we had a great...waitress. Give it a try!
