Cyan Cafe Lounge - York

The mixed grill is my favorite entree at @cyancafe. It includes a variety of meats such as beef tenderloin, chicken tikka, and lamb kebab, served with salad and a choice of rice or fries. My friends upgraded the salad to the cyan Mediterranean, which added a delicious touch. The lamb kebab is especially juicy and flavorful. This is a great dish to share, as it is enough for three people when ordering starters alongside it. After a hectic two weeks with no work-life balance, I finally took some time to relax with one of my best friends. We decided to explore Richmond Hill and give Cyan Café and Lounge a try. Despite the quirky pronunciation (it's "sigh anne"), the atmosphere was trendy with dim lighting, comfy sofas, and big screen TVs. The decor was clean with nice greenish-blue accents. They offer food and a smoke-free environment. If you're only interested in one or the other, it's best to go earlier in the evening before 9pm when it can get crowded with smokers. Overall, a great spot for a chill hangout session.

I went with two friends last weekend and the service was absolutely horrible. When we got there we were told it would be a half hour wait, so we waited. 35 minutes later, we weren't even acknowledged but three staff members just stood around the front door chatting. a couple before us who were waiting a while walked out, and four girls who came in after us ended up walking out as well. 40 minutes later, we left - what a waste of time. We ended up going down the street to another shisha bar and the service was SO great.

Great night out with my hubby we decided to try this lounge after reading some reviews and found it to be hot spot for hookah and enjoying food also chilling to subtle music. The atmosphere was relaxing and we enjoyed ourselves. The service was timely and we ordered a bottle of wine and dined to a platter which had several different options. The food was yummy.
