Il Fornello - Richmond Hill - York

The food was decent overall. It is more on the pricey side. The service was excellent. Our server always made sure everything was fine and was nice enough to give us free espresso shots at the end of the dinner.

I keep returning to this restaurant for the delicious fig pizza, but this time I decided to try something new and I was not disappointed. The pizzas here never disappoint. I also ordered the chicken parmesan but was a bit disappointed to find it slightly overcooked. Despite that, I will definitely be back for more pizza.

We had an excellent experience at Il Fornello Richmond Hill. It was a pleasant surprise to find a variety of creative vegetarian and plant-based options on the menu. The pasta was delicious. Our server, Bianca, was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and efficient. The only downside was the high noise level, even in our cozy and isolated corner booth. Nevertheless, we had a great time and look forward to coming back again.

I was disappointed to say the least. I went to this restaurant for my friend's birthday on Friday and although the service was good, my dish, a Rigatoni with beef tenderloin and mushrooms in a brandy cream sauce, was not flavorful and the portion size was small. Considering these factors, I found it difficult to justify the price. Given the overall experience and the many Italian restaurants available, I am hesitant to return to this particular establishment.

Eating is a bit expensive, but typical of uplifted Italian. the service was very attentive.
