Zizzi - York

The temperature in the restaurant was freezing. We had to ask for the air con to be turned off. To be fair they did oblige but we couldn't believe they actually left it running on a cold night in December. Staff friendly and the meal was fine because we got 2 for 1. However at full price I would not go back. This is the third time we've used Meerkat there without any issues. On that basis I recommend if you have it.

Adequate but not sensational. Salad portions smaller than expected, soup over priced and was good food but nothing to brag about and would not visit again. Service was ridiculously slow. Open air restaurant was noisy and would not be suitable for hearing deficient people.

Great Customer Service, good did take a little while to come but was worth the wait

We stopped here for a bite to eat during a busy day Christmas Shopping. The Cheesy garlic bread to start was fantastic followed by homemade lasagne for mains. It was just what we needed on a cold, breezy day in December! Service was attentive but we did not feel rushed through our courses. Warm atmosphere we will be back!!!

Excellent food, very good value and good atmosphere.
