Bidra med feedbackYes definitely, great pint well looked after beer and lager best pint in village. Actually the cheapest pint also but they are a free house and not greedy. The whole roast was fresh, meat to die for! proper home made gravy only wish we had eaten here before, lived here 1.5 years always dined at others in the village. I judged a book by its cover!! fully hands up its dated and others in village are more modern but wow thankyou so much it's the actual owner that cooks too, very rare these days. I'm so glad we didn't have starters though the plate was very plentiful indeed. Thanks once again will definitely be back next week .... perfection, quality price and service
If you're looking for a restaurant review you're in the wrong place. The Three Horseshoes is typical pub grub, home cooked, well presented with pleasant, helpful staff. We called in for Sunday lunch. My wife's Prawn Cocktail was generously loaded with prawns, my vegetable soup served in a large bowl, piping hot with a large teacake and butter. Our Sunday roasts lots of tasty chicken for her, thick tender portions of roast beef for me. Served with Yorkshire puds, roast and mashed potatoes, broccoli, green beans and carrots. Honestly, there was so much beef they put the last chunk in foil to take way. Just too much there for me to eat. Everything, including drinks , is modestly priced and excellent value for money. We will be back.
A fabulous find for lunch. Quality food, generous portions, perfectly cooked and good value. A perfect pint of real ale £2.95 to wash it down. Friendly staff at this large pub in Boroughbridge and dogs are allowed. What's not to like!
Went here with friends for Easter Saturday evening meal. Thank you Alison for a beautiful meal. Exceptional value for money and served in good time. Your main course was enough. All the staff were friendly and polite. As we live local so we will be back.. Keep it up. Thanks you. Steve B.
Called in for a drink before our evening meal at The Crown. It was not very busy (just locals having a chat at the bar) We went into another room and two elderly gents came in and the language was quite a shock!! We finished our drinks and left. Shame really.
