The Lemon Tree - York

This restaurant is charming and welcoming, with excellent coffee and cake.

Last week I had the coffee and walnut cake. This week it was the chocolate cake. Both excellent and washed down with the lovely coffee.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times now. The first time was over a year ago and the owners remembered us from that visit! They are incredibly friendly. The coffee and hot chocolate are amazing, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. It's definitely better than the typical chain coffee shops. I look forward to coming back again next year!

Service always with a smile and a good choice of drinks and eating. there was a group of ladies who pick up a nice time with recreation and there is always the inner room for those who want to be more secluded.
