The Blue Boar - York

Called in to this pub with family on a visit to York. What a find! Brilliant ambiance. Only had drinks as we had plan’s elsewhere but the food that was coming out looked amazing. The information on Dick Turpin in the cellar was fantastic. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Super little pub in the heart of York and the only one we tried that had an ordinary dark rum! Everywhere else only had the spiced sort. Good music playing, food was also lovely and Dick Turpin's coffin in the cellar was a nice twist.

Food was amazing!!! Definitely recommend the toasties! Unique because had some history connected to Dick Turpin in the cellar seating area.

This pub is absolutely charming! The atmosphere is fantastic and the building itself is full of character. They have a wonderful selection of drinks, and I feel fortunate to have discovered this gem. I will definitely be returning in the future.
