Bidra med feedbackWe stopped off here after walking past on the way in to the centre of York. Absolutely lovely staff who were very good with our 18 month old little girl. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend :
Went to Penny's for lunch today and the food was absolutely delicious. The soup in particular was v tasty. £10 for a huge sandwich packed with filling, a bowl of soup and a cappuccino was very reasonable. Would highly recommend.
Very enjoyable breakfast.i had the full English and my wife had the vegetarian breakfast. Great attention to the finer details, such as how you want your coffee and how you prefer your eggs and bacon to be cooked etc.
We discovered Penny's when my daughter went to Uni in York. It's ace. Exceptionally friendly the staff seem to be on first name terms with all their customers. It's a bit like a traditional East End caff but with a broader menu we are vegetarian and there's loads of choice. Yesterday we travelled 50 miles from Sheffield just to have breakfast there, which must say something. Can't recommend it highly enough.
I started University at York in September and found Penny's during fresher's week. They made me feel welcome and like one of the locals from the very beginning it's now one of the first places I bring any visitors! Lovely food (loads of veggie options) and super friendly staff!
