Flying Legends, Hungry Horse - York

I made a reservation ahead of time because I heard this place gets really crowded, but it wasn't necessary. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and ordering was easy. The server was very helpful when we needed to make changes to our order. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. The scrambled eggs could have been cooked for 30 seconds less for my personal taste, but overall, it was a great meal at a great price.

We regularly visit Flying Legends for lunch because of the consistently excellent service, high-quality food, good value, and great Guinness! The diverse menu offers something for everyone, with daily deals that we love taking advantage of, especially the 'Mix it Up' Tuesday offer. During a recent visit for lunch, the fire alarm went off just as we had received our meals. The staff handled the situation amazingly, ensuring everyone was safely evacuated, keeping us informed, and only allowing customers back in after a thorough check. We were then offered fresh, deliciously cooked meals. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially its outstanding staff, and always look forward to our weekly visits.

We booked a table of 12, at 12oclock, 5 adults and 8 children. The staff were very helpful as the fire alarm went off and they refunded the food and gave us free passes to wacky warehouse. Some of us got drinks refunded, after speaking to the manager he then proceeded to use his own debit card and pay for my drink and my childrens smarties for £4.50 in the play area, after telling me children what he did they were very happy and thought he was very kind. I feel like the staff and manager dealt with the situation really well acts of kindness goes a long way and we will always be great full. As a single mum with 2 children under 5 by myself this really helped me out, and will always remember his act of kindness . The food was lovely and the children got to play for a long time. Thankyou so much he was a new manager I had never seen before

After previously enjoying good experiences at this restaurant, today's visit was extremely disappointing. While the service and staff were excellent, the food quality was terrible. The burgers, kids' meals, and starters were all subpar. Unfortunately, there was a problem in the kitchen which resulted in a limited menu, leaving us with little choice. After spending around £60 on three adults and two toddlers, we were thoroughly dissatisfied and unlikely to return in the future.

Called in to try the curry night, best value meal anywhere. Tried the Jalcrazy and it did not disappoint, even comes with a pint. Would also like to give a shout out to our server Chloe, she is a credit to your company.
