Beautiful tea room personal pleasant beautiful atmosphere. husband had mushroom soup and wheat bread. very tasty. I had open salmon sandwich, many smoked salmon cute plucked slices. bari bart and carrot cake both beautiful. only handle would have been nice to have hot water with tee. a bit expensive but they pay for quality x

Found this lovely place as I was walking to town centre. Decided to have breakfast....so very glad I did...excellent. The decor and displays are nicely placed. There were a fine selection of teas, jams and gift items for sale....I didn't purchase anything in this occasion. I definitely will come back on my next visit and take a few photos.

This is a lovely coffee shop with a wonderful atmosphere and delicious cakes! I didn't try the food this time, but I might come back to sample it. However, the Monmouth coffee I had was excellent!

Beautiful café! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. The owner was lovely and very friendly. We would have happily returned for lunch and dinner if we had stayed longer in York, as the menu looked amazing. It’s conveniently located near The Shambles and just a short walk from the art gallery and the city walls.

We really enjoyed our hummus platter and bacon quiche. The coffee was of good quality, and the staff were friendly.
