Ate O Clock - York

Visiting York for the day , we always eat here , food always perfect , service is always great . We came for Sunday lunch this time and it was absolutely superb , can't wait to return .

I don’t often write reviews but we were so impressed by this restaurant that I felt compelled to do so. We were nearby so decided to go for lunch on spec. I am disabled and a wheelchair user, but we didn’t even need to ask for assistance. A member of staff came to the door to help as soon as she saw us. We were given a table which had easy access to the disabled toilet should I need it. The service was exceptional and the food delicious and beautifully presented. We were also offered water for the table without having to ask. We are York residents but this was the first time we had eaten at this restaurant, and we will be returning. There are some good restaurants in York, but the meal here was the best we have had for a long time. We would highly recommend. Many thanks for a great experience.

Fantastic little restaurant serving amazing food. The selection was fabulous, something for the vegetarian, pescatarian and the meat lovers. Great range of beers, wine, fizz and cocktails. The service was excellent not too long in between courses. The ambiance of the restaurant was buzzing but not too noise you couldn’t hear your table talk. Can’t not comment on dessert we was all to full from starters and main. Will be returning

Good quality fresh food, good value and served efficiently. Team members friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble The whole of the premises were clean and tidy. Ate here twice over a 4 day stay. The aesthetics and cosmetics were very pleasing

Excellent food . Just been this evening for wedding anniversary meal. When my husband rang to book he was asked it was a special occasion. Glass of prosecco each to greet us and a chocolate cake with dessert. Made it very special. Delicious food, wonderful service.
