Bidra med feedbackAs good as it should be with most of the New Haven Vibe. Toss in a dose of NYC Vibes and you have a unique experience. I recommend this Frank Pepe Pizzeria site! Parking is a problem. Be ready, street park in meters. The counter app is the same as New Haven used, ParkMobile. I found this super comfortable. The staff is immediately knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The geographical location is a bit out of the way of travelers highways and parkways so leave enough time.
What an amazing and cool place. This is probably one of the few places that have preserved its authenticity. It was my first time in this place. My partner was very excited to visit as she hasn't been there for years. We took the 25-minute drive up and immediately got a place when we got in. The place is beautiful, they have their vintage family photos and it feels just like home. Our server was very relaxed and straight to the point. We ordered a regular cheese and half with pesto and fresh garlic. I have a peronie (classic). Bomb! That's all I have to say. I hope this facility never changes.
This place is famous for a reason. The pizza is amazing. The big one is actually big. And the prices are great. The drinks have free refills and the waitress was so nice. The menu is quite simple, it is quite all pizza and salad. I would recommend it to everyone who likes pizza.
If you're a fan of pizzas, that's a place you should go. This pizza in an oven is the bomb, there is another taste and the crust is well roasted. during this visit I ordered 3 pizzas (a small margherita, and 2 medium, one cheese and the other Amanti della Carne). The prices are very good and they also offer salads on their menu.
A different kind of pizza place; good value; friendly service. Can't really tell from the outside how large this place is and once you walk in it's the hustle and bustle of a very active and busy place. The scent of fresh pizza fills the air and the wait staff moving with larger than usual pizza boxes and metal pans is very different. The pizza is served table side on the large pans on foldable tray tables instead of on the table lifted up a bit. Very different. Service is fast. Menu is simple. Prices are in line with some of NYCs best pizza places and better Westchester joints. $22.50 for a large regular pie is pretty good. The pizza is what I'll call the purist variety. Sauce and cheese not much else the sauce is fairly basic so not a whole lot of flavor on its own. I lathered mine with garlic, Parmesan, crushed red pepper, and for the time in my life salt. Having said that, the pizza was devoured by all. The value and service is exactly what we were looking for.
