Bidra med feedbackFuk Chou 福州 干面 dried noodle is tastier than the wet version. Very similar to the hokkian mee, the shape of noodle is diffrent. Egg soup is like the shark fin soup with nothing else but egg, pork, and authentic vinegar. Very very hot. Fried fish cake serve with thai sauce, appetizing. Open space, just the flies are alot and annoying. House brand prepack noodle is available.
Place was packed but service was quick. Food is good. The dry fuzhou noodles reminded me of char kuey teow but with different noodle, lots of wok hey.
First time visit. heard from friend that is good. we ordered fry, braised and lor mee. the fry one is the best. with all wok hei. smokey and flavourful. for lor mee is a little bit too sweet, must eat with vinegar, only it brings out more flavour. for the braised, it looks like hokkien mee, but less flavour. as the otak was really good. but u were not a fan of fish cake. probably next time i would just order the fried version and with otak. that would be the best combination.
Hock chiew noodle just so so. Average hawker standard. Pork lard in the noodle not really lift up the taste. 3 stars Loh mee below average. Vinegar too strong to my liking. Nothing worth mdntioned. 2 stars Egg soup was ok. Similar taste as sgark fin soup. 3 stars
Food is nice. Loh Mee is nice. Fish cake is nice. Wantan not bad. But staff is abit rude.
