Young's Jersey Dairy - YELLOW SPRINGS

Delicious food. Unique setting was quite memorable. Any place with a working dairy adjacent to family-friendly restaurant is a winning combination. Went there two days in a row and still were menu items to try.

Young's Dairy.. just WOW. A childhood iconic place, did not disappoint!! I grew up in Xenia, and Young's Dairy had been part of my culture since I was a kid! My wife has never been here so this experience for her was eye candy for the senses. Everyone behind the counter was working their tails off and what an operation of efficiency it was. The ice cream was better than I remember, the atmosphere was busy, fun and well done. Thank you Young's Dairy for bringing my childhood memories back to life and you've gained a new follower on my wife as she enjoyed her 1st experience!

Dessert review: The wife and I got two scoop equivalent deserts and hers was served in what everyone else will consider a single serve cup. IE: You don't get what you pay for. My apple ala mode sundae had way more apple pie, whipped topping than ice cream. The ice cream good but not great. I get this is probably a destination for the locals with a merry-go round and putt-putt. We had our dessert indoors in what basically looks like a large cafeteria setting, so very loud and busy.

Been coming here for years and they have added a lot of new stuff which is great. But now everything is a price. 8.50 to play on playground, the slide and carousel etc. all have fees. Been here a few hours and spent over a 100.00 so far. Be prepared. Love it though We had 5 little kids.
