Bidra med feedbackA delight pre-Mother’s Day dinner in a warm restaurant with lovely ambiance and even better food. The gnocchi is seriously good, the calamari was divine, but the home made chocolate mousse was the standout. The owner and chef took time out to sit and talk in what is obviously a restaurant that is very much loved by the local community. Highly recommended.
Stumbled across this lovely cafe whilst meeting a friend for lunch in Yarra Glen. Neither of us had been as we recently moved from WA. Couldn't have been made more welcome by Wayne the hostess. It happened to be my sons 1st birthday Wayne came out with a birthday cake (yummy brownie by the way), a candle a little 1. He sung happy birthday which just melted my heart. The chicken caesar salad was yummy. I watched Wayne with his customers he treated them like friends. Very friendly compassionate. I will be back here again, simply for the customer service, beautiful food happy atmosphere.
Had a lovely room off to the right to ourselves for a 80 th birthday Service was excellent and food great. Serves were big but you could get half serves for some meals. Parking on the main st is limited but there is plenty of parking in the side streets. Courtyard is lovely but walkway up to the front door is a little uneven so needs a little care. Will def be back soon
Quaint little restaurant staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious and made of quality ingredients. It’s like visiting grandma’s place!
EDIT: Spoke to Wayne on the phone and was impressed by his kindness and understanding about the whole situation. Thank you, Wayne. Great food, coffee and staff who took our order was nice and friendly. But the lady who allocated our table sorted the bill was not, she gave us a bit of an attitude from the beginning. We left home very upset and really felt unwelcome.
