Clayton's Cafe - Yarmouth

Went here for breakfast and ordered a sandwich on sourdough, it was delicious.The cappachino was great and service was friendly.

Ordered a salad with grilled chicken, it came out to $17 and it was the smallest salad ever. I picked it up today and the Togo container was the size of a SMALL salad. For almost $20 you would except something that was satiating. What has happened to Clayton’s recently?

Why 2 stars given the other scores and the fact I love the patient, helpful checkout lady?Saturday I called to preorder take out. At 945 the phone rang for 3 MINUTES unanswered before I gave upWhen I came in I asked your best employee what I did wrong and she said she hears this all the time because your phone system has not been reliable for A LONG TIME. REALLY?Y'all do so many things well but I don't understand why you are content to allow your faithful customers to be subject to this frustration

Wonderful local cafe, I love supporting the business.This is a widespread issue, not one exclusively of Clayton's Cafe baked eggs on sandwiches.The new trend of baked eggs on breakfast sandwiches is a lazy solution to a made up problem. When I see a square egg on a sandwich my blood starts to boil. Cooking eggs is a BASIC skill of a cook. Grab a non stick pan and fry an egg. It's too easy to dismiss.Baked eggs are VILE!

Kind of gross when a barista puts Vaseline on her lips using her finger and doesn’t wash her hands after, then proceeds to touch the espresso bar… good latte though.
