Canal Street Grille - Yardley

I am appalled at the restaurants stroller policy. The excuses they have listed regarding being a fire risk, and concerns over health and safety would still be valid with customers requiring a wheelchair. Do they refuse service and discriminate against other patrons? I would hope not, so is it just parents they discriminate against? Rather than listing excuses trying to defend their abhorrent policy, just admit you’re not willing to cater for young families. When we arrived at the restaurant it was empty and there was substantial room both inside and outside allowing for the ability to park a stroller against a wall without affecting walkways. The hostesses suggestion of balancing our baby on a chair clearly highlights the restaurants inability to understand safety.

The food is so good! I really love the eggplant dip and their pita. The employees are also so sweet. Nancy is especially so kind! Whenever she takes my order she is always smiling, pleasant, has so much patience. Makes the experience even better! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
