Rosie's Sports Grill - Yankee Hill

This weekend my girlfriend and I drove in from Omaha to watch our friend perform and sing. I had called ahead just to confirm, seeing that I am 21 and my girlfriend is 20, that we would be able to enter. I was told by a lady that alcohol purchases were not required and that we could order food and sodas and enjoy the show. Although after driving over an hour there, we walked into the building and were heading to some open seats when a man with little hair and a beard called us over demanding IDs. I told him that my girlfriend was 20 and that we weren’t planning on ordering any drinks and only food. He then told us in an unfriendly tone that it did not matter and to “get out.” Once outside we learned that this had happened to others as well. The food and atmosphere here is great, but management is not consistent.

Rather disappointed with our visit last night. It took our server way too long just to stop by our table, way to long to bring us our drinks, and way to long to come back to take our order. In fact, we had to flag her down to take our order. My wife's burger was tasty but the fries were way too salty. My cuban came only with pulled pork, no sliced ham. The flavor was ok but a cuban should have ham not just pulled pork. The last straw of the night was that after picking up our dishes, our server just hung out at the bar. We had to, once again, flag her down to bring us our bill. Not a good visit. Probably won't be back.

Decent place to grab a drink. It is typical bar food offerings, but not too bad. The bartenders are really cool.This place is not 1st date material, but a good place to meet up with friends.
