Tamales y Atoles - XALAPA-ENRÍQUEZ

Typical visit that you can't miss in your travel. Really, this is Mexican food and with a great background, old style and very tasty! A really must to be there! If you are not allergic to anything, try to eat everything! Yummy!

If you're looking for delicious and traditional mexican food, your have to go to this place. This is how real mexican food tastes like. It's a family business and the owners are super nice :) Everything is sooo good! You will definitely leave with a smile on your face. :) I eat there every time I visit Xalapa, if you're there in winter, you might find it full, but It's worth waiting

Great tamales. We also tried the atole limón which is good. The staff is friendly. This place is worth a visit to have tamales if you're in Xalapa.

After living in Mexico for 7 years, this place has the best tamales and atoles I've tried. The ingredients are fresh, wholesome, savory and everything is well done. The staff are super friendly, the WiFi is fast, and the setting is comfortable with stylish traditional Mexican decor. Even the menus and advertising had really cool designs, and I watched a cool video on their Facebook page. I really love everything about this place and will come back!!
