Bidra med feedbackThe tapas here are always wonderful but the Christmas menu is first class. I and 6 others had lunch here six courses of stylish food, each better than the one before. Accompanied by excellent wines and friendly service, it proved to be a memorable day out and all for less than 25€ a head. The tapas are made to order so it's not fast food but I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I really like this tapas bar very friendly owners but the food wasn't good enough it was too expensive. We called on a quietish Friday evening, service was slow, only one waitress. That's not an issue to me because I'm happy to eat at a relaxed pace. We ate chicken wings (excellent but 6 euros for 5), garlic prawns (again excellent but 9 euros for 7 medium sized prawns), the meatballs were lovely but served in a sauce that resembled tinned soup (you can tell from the texture), the patatas bravas were basically French fries with mayo bravas sauce. The highlight for me was the anchovies olives fantastic. The croquettas were homemade very nice. Overall some nice food but much to expensive.
We stumbled across this little corner tapas restaurant a couple of weeks ago and have tried it three times now. The owners are especially friendly and made us feel very welcome straight away. We tried several of the dishes and can genuinely recommend most of the ones we tried. Our favourites were mini tortilla, the albondigas meat balls, Camembert and spicy mussels The house red wine was also very good and reasonably priced. Its not the best location in Javea and doesn't have the usual sea views, however, the food appears to be all freshly cooked and beautifully presented. Other restaurants have struggled in this location so please do give it a try because this restaurant is worth keeping. We managed to eat and drink more than enough for around fifteen to twenty euros per head
