We were staying in Bleasedale on holiday and got a takeaway from here. Food was lovely, but it's cash only so had to go to cashpoint first, still was well worth it!
Overall, my recent visits to this restaurant have been satisfactory, but this particular experience was poor at best. I ordered the chicken with pineapple and ginger dish, but was disappointed by the lack of chicken and overwhelming sweetness of the pineapple with no hint of ginger flavor. The salt and pepper chips were also disappointing, just basic chips with a generic seasoning mix and very few toppings like spring onion or peppers. Unfortunately, Garstang doesn't have many good Chinese takeaways, so this experience was a letdown.
I had a terrible dining experience at this restaurant. I paid £24 for a meal that ended up in the bin. The sweet and sour dish was filled with greasy, deep-fried balls that were dripping with sauce from a carton. It was disgusting and poorly put together, with no vegetables included. I will never be returning to this place.
We have had difficulty finding a good Chinese takeout in Garstang, but our visit to The Season was a pleasant surprise in terms of food quality. The prawn toast was a bit lacking in taste, but the char siu with pineapple was delicious. Although the seasoning was a bit off, this was by far the best Chinese takeout we have had in Garstang.
