Atmosphere is ok, the ribs I received were ok albeit not the meal ordered. Drinks never turned up, if your contemplating eating here give it a miss you will receive a much better dining experience at venues in the close vicinity. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Not the lone star of old. Had the comanche salad which was ok but both bacon and chicken were a bit palid. I ordered chips as a side which they initially forgot and when they did arrive they were too salty to eat. When I paid they asked if everything was okay with the food but just ignored my answer. The fried squash and French fries at the canteen were excessively oily. The batter on the fried squid was poorly done, allowing oil to seep into the fries. There were very few waitstaff, with one girl handling many tasks. The most frustrating part was that it took a full hour from the time we placed our order until the main course was finally served. I was staying at the mercure hotel for a few nights and dined at the lone star twice, as it is right next door, I could get to the restaurant from the hotel lobby! As I travel for work a lot, I love a good home cooked meal when on the road and I felt that's what I got at lonestar. I also felt it was excellent value. Hence why I went twice in three days. The wine was surprisingly good for an establishment like this, I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. It's a bit weird having a robot bring the food out, but as employment becomes more expensive and as the times are changing, this is not the first place I've seen using these.
