The Ship Inn - Wylam

This is a 3 only because I only called in for a quick pint. I one was to stay longer and eat there, I'm sure it would get more stars. Everwhere seemed clean, there was rugby on the telly (world cup) were pleasant, pint was good. There are no negatives at all, but I wasn't there long enough to award it more stars.

Called for a drink and sandwich and was immediately greeted by happy smiling staff. The sandwiches were hot beef on cabana bread with fries and salad my wife had a prawn Marie on brown it was also accompanied with fries and salad. Make no mistake these were huge sandwiches that were really great. Nearby activities: Free parking at the bottom of the hill. A kiddies park situated halfway down the hill. Food drinks: Great food and reasonably priced drinks.
