Wye General Store and Cafe - WYE RIVER

Great coffee with a great view, worth a stop even if your just passing through! We loved wandering to get a cuppa every morning and enjoy the view!

Had a lovely breakfast two days in a row here. Air conditioned inside and tables outside for those who prefer the heat. Served quickly. As far as the shop is concerned, they offer a good range of goods including locally sourced produce. Staff are friendly and will give advice on local attractions.

We had read reviews on this cafe and decided to make it our lunch stop on the Great Ocean road trip. It was average at best. Slow service and mediocre food. Would go elsewhere next time.

Ordered a Blaat sandwich, it looked good but it was just okay. Loaded with butter , mayo and fatty bacon. Place was very busy, no service level to speak off. Stop for your meal in Lorne, that town looked much nicer with more options

We had lunch here over the weekend and it was a great spot opposite a little park for our two dogs to run around. We sat outdoors, the service was a little bit slow but they were fairly busy. The food and coffees were great! Definitely worth a spot if you're passing through and right across the road from the beach so good for takeaway.
