The Chequers - Wycombe

Myself and two other mothers came together for Mother's Day and decided to dine at The Chequers Inn because it was conveniently located for all of us. It was easily accessible and we were not disappointed with our choice. We ordered the Sunday roast and it was absolutely delicious. Even the picky eaters in our group enjoyed their meal and had no complaints. The portions were generous and we definitely did not leave feeling hungry. The desserts were also fantastic, earning a 5-star rating from us. The owners were welcoming and attentive, making us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. I highly recommend The Chequers Inn, not only for the delicious food but also for the great ambiance. The owners do an amazing job and we will definitely be returning.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. The food was delicious and the staff was exceptional. They were welcoming, warm, and funny. They even accommodated our vegan dietary preferences. #welovealan

This is the best pub I’ve been to in a long time. Julie and Alan and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. The minted lamb shank was so tasty as was the Cajun chicken. Just a shame we didn’t...get to try the Sunday roast! Great pub and definitely worth a visit

Again, a great Sunday lunch with our hosts Julie and Allan great atmosphere and staff were excellent. Looking forward to another visit soon
