The Brick House - Wyckoff

Finally, the wife and I locked the kids in the basement and got out for a date night! Just kidding, they went to a fireworks show! We wanted to try a place that we hadn't been to for dinner. Both of us have been here before for business lunches, but never for dinner. Phenomenal place for a high end burger amd fries that are addictive. It certainly did not disappoint for dinner. The staff was extremely friendly, classy and attentive, The atmosphere is classic and elegant. They have a very warm and inviting bar to have a drink at before you dine. They do have rooms for catering events such as weddings or smaller rooms for gatherings for business or parties. Food is excellent.

Was here last summer and it was very disappointing. I had gotten the filet mignon and my husband had surf and turf. I asked for my steak to be medium, but it came out BLUE. I'm usually very hesitant to send things back and will still eat it if cooked more well done or even a little on the rare side but I couldn't with this so we sent it back. It wasn't even a great steak, not well seasoned with salt and pepper. Don't know why we bothered but we both took dessert to go and the cakes while they sounded good were not great either. Tasted like they came from shop rite. It was an expensive meal and a complete waste of time, calories and money. I don't know if that was a fluke but not bothering to go back. We've found better steakhouses or we make our own.

Everyone friiendly. Abundance of food. Atmosphere lovely.

We recently hosted our engagement party at the Brick House, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience! From start to finish, the service provided by the staff was impeccable. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The food was simply amazing—each dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and there was more than enough to satisfy all our guests. Everyone left full and happy, raving about how wonderful the evening was. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day. Highly recommend the Brick House for any event!
