Quiet for a Saturday but this pub just oozes character. Locals should frequent it more....decent pubs like this are disappearing at an alarming rate. Food was good.....but your chips are something else Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited this pub today for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. We were met by warm inviting staff and shown to a cosy room with a friendly atmosphere. The roast dinner was delicious and plenty of it served on warm plates which was a bonus. It says it all when we say we will definitely be going again with family and/or friends. We've just had 3 delivered meals, lasagne was lovely, sausage chips and beans was really nice and the double burger and chips was out of this world, all the food was hot and delivered on time, probably the best burger I've had for years and at a very reasonable price...
