Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I visited the Wooster Inn for a Valentine's Day dinner, and we were very pleased with our experience. The food was excellent, and the service was good. However, I was a little put off to see some waitstaff wearing tennis shoes. The overall ambiance was nice, but it would have been even better with dimmer lighting and some background music instead of a TV during dinner. (They do have a lovely pub in the basement with a TV.) Overall, we had a great time and are looking forward to coming back in the summer to dine on the terrace and enjoy the view.
This was my third visit to brunch at the Wooster Inn. This time, I ordered the pecan-encrusted chicken Cobb salad, and it was outstanding! It truly deserves high praise.
The inn's holiday decorations were simply delightful. While we waited for our guests in the salon after arriving early, we took in the festive atmosphere. Regardless of the tropical weather outside, we were truly in the Christmas spirit. The staff warmly welcomed and expertly attended to us. Ken stopped by for a nice chat, which added to the pleasant experience. The chef, who had created the fantastic braided short rib bowl we enjoyed alongside a magnificent R&B Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, came out to share the story behind the dish’s development. She explained not only its incredible success, including a peak price at an NFL chef event, but also its charitable support for people in need.
